OK, so my subject changed again, but this time I got it right. The toy I was using was completely unrecognizable. The viewer needs to have instant understanding of both the subject and the scene: it's the relationship between the two that is important for this assignment. My new subject is a lamp, instantly recognizable, but limited in where you would usually see it. I had fun inserting the lamp into unusual circumstances; the elevator, in the yard, on my car. I think there may be an opportunity to use the lamp along with the rear view mirror photos, with the lamp in the distance.
